ELECTRICAL PROTECTION:

ACTIVE – INTEGRATED

Like any other electronic device, LED systems must work in stable and safeguarded conditions. In the industrial areas, unlike at home and office, the voltage fluctuations may be relevant.

For this reason, the Allusky solutions integrate a system of safeguard designed for the most critical applications. These systems are never included in the traditional lamps and must be acquired separately.

HIGH RANGE OF VOLTAGE DIFFERENCE

The lamps are designed to properly work between 90V and 305V, with a frequency from 47Hz to 63Hz. The common lamps are not guaranteed over ±10% of the nominal value (from 207V to 257V). High voltage fluctuations, that are critical for the traditional lamps, are not perceived by Allusky systems.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

In the event of environmental problems and the overcoming of the operative maximum temperature, the lamp automatically decreases the power in order to limit the heat surplus. Once the issue is solved, it switches back to the standard functioning.

SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION

Auto Recovery function in case of electrical system short circuit. This may happen after a faulty or a wrong system maintenance. The lamp goes back to its standard functioning once the issue is solved.

VOLTAGE SURGE PROTECTION

In the event of voltage peaks in the electric network, the power supply responds by decreasing the LED source power. The voltage surges may damage the lamp in an irreversible way. Allusky lamps can stand a voltage up to 10kV (the common lamps reach 2-3kV).

DISSIPATING POWER SUPPLY

The power supply is designed to guarantee the maximum reliability during time (standard MIL.HDBK-217F). Emphasis is given to the capacity to maintain a controlled temperature: from the separation of the optics group to the aluminum alloy chassis.
